Who we are

Medical Physicist UK is operated by LATITUDE60 LTD. This notice explains what information may be processed when you use the website or contact us.

What information may be processed

  • Information you send: your name, email address and message if you contact us.
  • Essential technical records: hosting and security systems may process an IP address, browser or user-agent information, requested page, referral information and timestamps to deliver and protect the site.
  • Aggregate engagement counts: our first-party counter stores the date, event type, a broad category and a total when someone opens an official job advert from the jobs feed or downloads the evidence planner.
  • Cookie information: any cookies or similar technologies described in the Cookie Policy.

How the aggregate counter protects privacy

The counter does not store an IP address, user agent, referrer, page history, visitor identifier or device identifier. It does not create a visitor profile and does not use analytics cookies or browser local storage. The request may still appear in ordinary hosting or security logs, which are separate from the aggregate counter.

Why we use information

We use information to deliver and secure the website, respond to enquiries, understand whether two practical site features are being used, improve content, maintain necessary records and comply with legal obligations.

Lawful bases

Where personal information is involved, we normally rely on legitimate interests in operating, protecting and improving the website and responding to enquiries. We may also rely on consent, contract or legal obligation where the circumstances require it. We minimise the information used for engagement measurement and keep only aggregate daily counts in that tool.

Who may receive information

Limited information may be handled by service providers that support hosting, security, email and professional administration. We do not send the aggregate job-click or planner-download counts to a third-party analytics provider. An external website you choose to open processes your visit under its own privacy information.

International transfers

Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where this applies, we expect an appropriate transfer mechanism or safeguard to be used.

How long information is kept

Aggregate daily engagement counts are kept for up to 400 days. Contact messages are kept only for as long as needed to answer and manage the enquiry or meet a legal requirement. Hosting and security records follow the relevant provider’s operational and security retention periods.

Your rights

Depending on the processing and lawful basis, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the use of your personal information, and to data portability. If we rely on consent, you can withdraw it. The aggregate counter contains no visitor-level record that can be linked back to an individual.

Your right to object: you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us using the address above so we can consider your request.

Automated decisions

We do not use the information described here to make automated decisions about visitors or to profile them.

Questions or complaints

Contact us first if you have a privacy question or complaint. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Regulatory reference: ICO guidance on the privacy information organisations should provide.
